I enjoy the learning process with scuba, whether it is working with new students or continuing to develop my skillsets and education. I get excited working with new divers as they discover the underwater world for the first time, learning to adapt to their new environment. Watching their skills come along and their desire to continue in this sport and knowing I played as small role in opening this world to them, is something I am proud of.

Anyone that has been around me for more than a few minutes talking about diving, knows I have a passion for tec diving. I am currently working on “gas-blending” were we mix different gases depending on the dive. When someone asks “How deep can/do you go?”, I always try to explain tec diving isn’t necessarily deep, it is extended range diving. 70’ for 100 minutes. No problem. I am also working on Padi IDC Staff Instructor and on the horizon, tec instructor.

My favorite dives are wreck dives. There is something awe inspiring about diving in and around a vessel that in a previous life, was on top of the water performing a service and has now been transformed to a beautiful man-made reef.  When I am not wet and salty, I enjoy spending time with my wife (diver) and my two children (future divers).
